It’s that time of year, when I resurrect the blog for the same reasons I always do….. An outlet that will hopefully allow me to become comfortable with my writing and the usual itch to have a little place to carve out and call my own. I’m not sure of the blogging software… and although I’m loving the black and red design, the skull makes me feel like I just walked out of a Hot Topic. After toying with this for the past year I finally decided to do this tonight on a whim, so I suppose I’ll see where it takes me.
According to my sociology textbook, I am a radical feminist. This is something I’m learning about over time. Though I’ve always considered myself a feminist, I’ve been privileged to deepen my understanding of feminism and the way that privilege and power work over the past year. I want to use the blog as a way to explore the ideas I’ve been reading about, tie up loose ends, and apply them to everyday life. I also want to blog about social injustice in the areas of economics and globalization.
